KCS Automotive appoints Sohail Shaik to support growth in the Middle East

KCS Automotive has appointed Sohail Shaik as Senior Consultant, with responsibility for supporting the company’s growth in the Middle East.

Based in Dubai, Sohail will work closely with automotive businesses across the Middle East, helping them improve operational performance, support digital transformation projects and get more value from their systems and processes. His local presence gives customers direct access to KCS Automotive expertise within the market, backed by wider support from the broader KCS team.

Sohail joins KCS Automotive with more than 12 years of experience in the motor industry. He began his career as an Aftersales Product Consultant at Keyloop, supporting clients across the Middle East, the UK, South Africa and Asia Pacific with day-to-day operational challenges.

He later moved into dealership environments as a Software Specialist, working with businesses representing brands including BMW, Rolls-Royce, Mini, Jaguar Land Rover, Ferrari and Maserati in Bahrain, as well as McLaren, Porsche, Audi, Volkswagen, BAIC and CFMOTO in Dubai. Across those roles, he gained experience throughout dealership and OEM operations, with particular strength in aftersales and sales.

In his new role, Sohail will support KCS clients across a range of consultancy and DMS-related projects, while also introducing a new suite of stock checking and vehicle locating solutions. His focus will be on helping businesses navigate operational complexity and digital change.

Ritchie Kelk, Director at KCS Automotive, said: “Sohail’s appointment is an important step for KCS Automotive as we continue to strengthen our support for customers in the Middle East. He brings deep automotive experience, strong operational understanding and first-hand knowledge of the challenges and opportunities facing businesses in the region. Just as importantly, he is based there, which means customers can work with someone who understands the local market and can provide support on the ground, backed by the wider expertise of the KCS team.”

Sohail Shaik added: “After more than 12 years in the automotive industry, I have come to value organisations that combine deep expertise with a true focus on clients. KCS Automotive stood out to me for its experience, clear approach and commitment to delivering real value. Those qualities really resonated with me and made joining the team a very easy decision.

“The biggest challenge and opportunity for the automotive industry in the Middle East right now is digital transformation. There is a real need for practical guidance, strong ownership and people who understand both the systems and the operational realities behind them. That is where KCS can make a real difference. I am looking forward to helping clients in the region tackle new challenges, find the right solutions and achieve their goals with confidence.”

The appointment strengthens KCS Automotive’s ability to support customers in the Middle East with on-the-ground expertise, backed by wider consultancy experience across automotive systems, operations and digital transformation.
